Description: The Street Centerline dataset represents the key streets of Ada County, with associated address ranges. It does not show low-grade dirt roads in the deserts and foothills. It includes, for emergency dispatch purposes, some roads in Boise and Elmore Counties. This dataset was developed by many parties over many years. Credit should go to Geographic General (now Power Engineers), Spatial Dynamics, Ada Planning Association (now COMPASS), Ada County Sheriff's Office Emergency Dispatch, and Ada County GIS.

Description: Details: Subdivisions is a county wide compilation of all subdivision boundaries in Ada County that has been clipped to Meridian's Area of City Impact. Maintained by Ada County Assessor's Office continually. Recorded plats are cogoed into existing parcel fabric, using survey control points for accuracy. This layer contains all subdivisions stacked on top of each other, giving historical value in areas where older subs have been resubdivided. Just for clarification, the term "subdivision" as used in land development is not the same as is understood by residents of them. People generally refer to a subdivision as what is technically a group of subdivisions or "phases" of development that all go by one common name such as "Paramount Subdivision". Some smaller subdivisions are one and only one subdivision. But often, these polygons represent phases and more than one make up what is more commonly referred to as a neighborhood or subdivision. These DO NOT coincide with the AKA names or HOA names. The legal names of subdivision polygons are not always the same as the name of the neighborhood or HOA. NOTE: Subdivisions ARE NOT THE SAME AS HOAs. An HOA may span multiple subdivisions or there may be more than one HOA within one neighborhood or group of subdivisions. Even the geographic boundaries of HOA's will likely differ from that of the subdivisions'.Steward: IT GISMaintenance Methods: This is automatically updated through the NightlyAdaUpdate.pyMaintenance Interval: This item is updated nightly.
